Laura's gluten free, sugar free no bake Fudge Recipe.

 

The following recipe is one I developed on my own from examining theingredients in gluten free bars in the stores, but eliminating the sugars and syrups, to satisfy my greatly diminished (but still present from time to time) sweet tooth, and to provide a nourishing afternoon snack, but also tokeep me from feeling deprived when everyone else is gobbling down gluten and sugar intensive desserts at the table..

Laura's Organic Chicken Liver Pate

 

This recipe can be made with any kind of bird liver, chicken, turkey, duck, goose, etc.
Please use an organic liver. As you probably know, livers are the clearinghouses in the bodies of toxins. Therefore, it's an excellent idea to use an organic liver, so that it is is as free from toxins as possible. Livers are great vitamin B sources and are pure protein, no carbs.
 This is obviously an ethnic preference. Some people hate liver. I have always loved bird liver from the time i was very little girl.
But I don't care much for beef liver. I love bird liver. And I only like it in pate form

Slow cooker root veg and scallops

 

This is a very tasty and filling dish. I see on my photograh that i had added a can of black beans to my root veggies slow cooker recipe. I am not a food stylist so my pix are the real deal. You would not believe what food stylists do to make food look good under a camera. Like spray it with hairspray or put lacquer on it. I've read about them and seen shows on TV about them. Food done for the tv camera is inedible! Mine won't always look great but I've snapped a photo right before we sat down to eat.
